I love my wife

I’ve enjoyed a special night with my beautiful wife, Cassidy. We ate some great “Shepherd’s Pie” that was amazing. We watched “Journey to the Center of the Earth” and I must say it was entertaining to watch.

Thanksgiving is coming next week and I must say that she is the greatest blessing in my life.

She is loving, gifted, gorgeous, sensitive, loyal, and patient. We’ve been married for 5 months and seven days! Marriage is awesome. I am tired of people being negative about marriage and saying things like,

“Well…it won’t always be this way, you’ll just get used to each other and argue like us…”
“So…are you guys tired of each other yet?”

Well…for me, I’ll never get over my wife! n87500060_30078722_6253

Attention…Blog experts!

I’m in the process of customizing my website (wordpress). You can check out the “MESS” here.

I purchased a host server (Go-daddy) to host wordpress. I have a domain and my wife, Cassidy has been working tirelessly to figure out how to make the switch.

Does anyone have some expertise on this? Thanks for your help!

This generation of students

It was a great night at Elevate, our student worship gathering at FaithBridge Church. Tonight I realized again that students desire to know God and live for Him with their whole heart. God has begun to reveal to me the importance of praising Him during difficult times. It has been my experience that through the difficult times I am able to see a clear picture of God’s grace. I’m amazed at the lessons I learn from watching 6th graders worship God. I’m blessed to see students weep over the salvation of their parents.

Students many times are viewed as “second class” or “not yet the church”, but I have the privilege to see students to minister to each other. My heart is for this generation to rise up and take their place as servants of Christ.

“Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.” – 1 Timothy 4:12

P.S. I love this picture of some of the students!

Funny video

This is a video of my younger brother Justin pulling a prank on my lovely wife, Cassidy. Enjoy!

Election Day Thoughts

Election day is finally here! It has been quite a election battle between McCain and Obama. I am glad that I voted for McCain early last week!

I’ve been thinking a lot about how I will respond to the results of the election tomorrow. God has been working on my heart on what Romans 13 talks about when it comes to Government and authority.

“Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God.”  Romans 13:1

Since governments have authority from God we are to obey them – unless, of course, they order us to do something in contradiction to God’s Word’s. Then, we are commanded to obey God before man (as in Acts 4:19).

I pray that believers face the upcoming days with a hope that is focused on the sovereignty of God. I will continue to pray for our nation and that Christians would actively show and share the truth of Jesus Christ.

America needs TRUE change. Hearts changed and healed through the power of Jesus Christ.

What are your thoughts?

Once again I am posting another production of my younger brother, Justin. Me and my brothers were home schooled growing up and because of that, we have many people who we can impersonate in videos. I’m thankful for the chance to be homeschooled, it was a great time in my life and thanks to my Mom for putting up with four boys running around making videos, wrestling, and eating a lot of food. The main reason that I think my brothers and I didn’t turn out “socially inept” (like most people think of home-schoolers) is that my parents lived a life of ministry and love to other people.

This video is hilarious. Hope you enjoy it.

It’s all about me

This video explains the real monster…the ME monster. This video is hilarious, but it is so true.

“Do not be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.” Philippians 2:3
